On 19th October, Wrights Master Court Member Judy Tayler-Smith was installed as Prime Warden of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers, and Auld Deacon Dorothy Newlands of Lauriston was installed as Upper Warden.
Founded in 1569, the Basketmakers’ Company promotes the craft of basketry, and members of the Company came to Glasgow for Dorothy’s Choosing Dinner at Trades Hall in 2016.
